Spottt! A Free Ad Exchange Network!
The original free ad exchange network was founded in 1996 (LinkExchange.com) and after that we have a lot of different sites offering link or ad exchange however I believe this cute little puppy has something different to offer. Let’s check it out…
What is Spottt?
Spottt was launched on 12th Feb, 2008 and is a part of the Adbrite advertising network, however Spottt is being run as a separate brand. Spottt gives users the opportunity to trade links with other websites so that they will reach more people.
According to Spottt: “Spottt is a free way to trade links with other like minded sites. You show ads of other Spottt members, and they will show your ads.”
Anyone with a webpage can take advantage of this ad sharing network. If you have a web-page you are welcome to be a part of this network and exchange traffic.
The concept is simple: by joining Spottt, Members agree to display the most popular 125×125 ads for other members and share the traffic.
Is there anything different or its just a clone of existing networks?
Today when I found this website on Google, I had the same question in my mind so I decided to spend some time to research on this and I found Spottt a little different.
What’s New?
- Spott can be used on your Blog, MySpace, Xanga, LiveJournal, or any other website.
– The installation code uses tables instead of javascript so its more accessible.
– It will bring quality traffic to your website and will not increase the bounce rate.
– Big sites don’t gobble up credits too fast, allowing smaller sites to prosper as well. (explained below)
How it Works?
The concept is really simple: just create an account, upload your ad, copy and paste the code on to your site, That’s It.
You don’t have to click any buttons to earn credits and that actually eliminates the false traffic and reduce the Bounce Rate.
"Throttle"
Spottt has come up with a great, unique concept where big sites don’t gobble up credits tooooo fast.
In other words, slowing down how quickly a big site can deplete a small sites’ credits. This will be more fair for all Spottt members. Spottt will still work great for all sites of all sizes.
But if you’re like most people and don’t run a huge site, your credits will go a lot further. You may even end up showing on some of the biggest sites on the Internet, for FREE.

Credits???
Everytime your web page serves other user’s Spottt, you gain a credit. It takes two credits to show your Spottt ad to another member’s site.
For example: If your page got 2000 impressions today, you will have earned 2000 credits, which should have resulted in roughly 1000 impressions of your Spottt on other member’s site.
