There are a lot of software’s available to keep your system free form Virus, Trojan, spywares, adware and all other alien elements which can decrease the performance of your computer or make it as good as a junk box.
From day one we are collecting songs, movies, important files, bookmarks and other useful stuff and then some day we turn on our computer and it acts weird and we have to re-configure it to work. And we are back to day one.
If you think your computer is infected with some virus, Trojan, adware or somebody is spying on your activities, I have a nice free tool to share with you. I am using this for a long time now and it’s great.

I think this will be nice for people who don’t think they need protection loaded on their computer to run. Then . . . they will see all of the garbage that gets downloaded to their system without them knowing.

Thanks. Typically I use Linux for most of my work because my Windows laptop runs so slowly with all the anti-malware tool I’ve got on it!!
How effective is the Live OneCare system in dealing with new threats? Does it take signatures from other vendors or do MS have their own DB?

I’ve heard good things about OneCare Safety Scan, but I would caution against relying soley on an on-line scanner to provide your only means of protection against malware.
As well as all the downloaded stuff you mention, so many people are downloading software cracks nowadays as well – not a good idea, as so much garbage comes with them.

Thank you but, i am not looking for an anti-viruses solution. I am looking for a web site that scans the inside of the laptop hard drives, disks, ect… it takes about 3 hr. for it to run it’s course then it gives a report on what is going on. And it is free for now but not much longer. I can’t recall the name of this site. Do u know?
I’ve used the windows care software and it works great. I recomend using at least two programs to clean spyware because what one misses the other will get.

Very helpful article. I can vouch for this product I have used it before and for a free tool it does an excellent job. Spyware and viruses can perform malicious activities on your computer including corrupting your registry and stealing your identity. Having a tool like this is extremely important for your safety!
I like Lavasoft – Adware…it’s free and once a week does the trick!
